The Czech Youth Association z.s. recognizes the significance of COP29 on climate change, which is scheduled to take place in Baku, Azerbaijan, in November 2024. This conference is highly anticipated, with the COP29 Presidency, led by Azerbaijan, striving to create an inclusive atmosphere where diverse voices are heard, various perspectives are considered, and collaborative solutions are developed to ensure comprehensive outcomes.
As strong advocates for inclusive and cooperative climate action, we believe in the crucial role of NGOs at COP29 on Climate Change. NGOs, deeply connected to their communities, bring unique insights, expertise, and viewpoints that enrich the discussions and decision-making processes at the conference. Their participation enhances a sense of ownership, accountability, and solidarity, reinforcing the collective commitment to addressing the climate crisis.
